Decent hotel for the price. Don't expect much, basic amenities here. Beds are not THAT bad. Staff is good too. .. except for the big guy at the front desk during the day on Saturday. He was a jerk to one of my friends and made checking into the hotel difficult. Didn't give us a receipt. Night staff were awesome
There was work being done in my apartment, and I needed a place for my cat and I to go for the day. I enjoyed my stay at the Budget Inn The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and neat. The staff were very friendly and efficient. There is ample parking It is not a luxury hotel, but if you are looking for a reasonably priced room to get some sleep you should try the Budget Inn.
I would like to apologize to the owner of the Budget Inn in downtown Hamilton Ontario Canada. I had a bad experience with something personal who made everything escalate and it made me angry with everything and I took it out on the Budget Inn. Luckily I was able to rent a room with them again a year later. I have realized that it was me who expected the staff to feel sorry for me for what I have been going through and experiencing as honestly they were just doing their best job. I didn't expect anything like that and I really appreciate their hospitality and customer service. As everyday I had clean sheets and towels, the staff very friendly and courteous making sure that I had everything I need. My issues really under no one's control. It was my responsibility to pay for the room and asking them to wait until I could make the payment wasn't their obligations. Sam and Monika really tried hard to ensure that our stay was pleasant and enjoyable and safe. From the bottom of my heart I thank you very much for everything and I wish you the Best. Thank you very much for helping me again.
The customer service was fantastic & the staff is very helpful. this place gets a bad reputation because of the location & some of the clients but all in all if you are looking for an affordable warm place to stay at In difficult times the budget inn is your best choice.
Pros, the staff is very nice and accommodating, it's relatively close to amenities, walking distance to Tim Hortons. I never saw any breakfast that other reviewers mentioned. Cons, You get what you pay, for it isn't high luxury but it is a fair place to lay your head
The manager was very perfessional and adiquite in maintaining the People that occupied the rooms,the service was standard as I had to stay for a while because I had no where else to go. The staff knew me by name and were very efficient when I stood at the desk waiting for a cup of coffee,the linen was very clean and the cleaning ladies were always smiling and very polite
It was clean, smelled nice, bug free and seemed fairly well maintained. Staff was very nice. There are a few smoking rooms too.
